How to speed up 24 hrs processing time for foreign eSIM upon arrival

👇 1. The 24-Hour Rule

• Since October 2025, Russia has enacted a rule that delays mobile phone connection by 24 hours for all foreign mobile phone services (including physical SIM cards and travel eSIMs) upon connecting to a network for the first time in the past 72 hours in Russia.

🔓 2. How to instantly access Internet (Beeline Network) If your travel eSIM connects to the Beeline network, you do not need to wait 24 hours. You can get your service working in minutes by following these steps:

1️⃣ Turn OFF Wi-Fi and VPN

• Turn Off active Wi-Fi
• Check and Turn Off active VPN
  
• NOTE: the verification page will only load over the eSIM service network.

2️⃣ Turn ON Data then open the SMS

• Turn On the data connection
• Turn On the eSIM from Download SIM
• Turn On "roaming" to allow roaming network connections
• Wait for an automatic SMS containing a verification link:
  (IF no URL is included in the SMS, THEN try this link: https://balance.beeline.ru/authenticateguest/)

3️⃣ Open the Link: Click the link in the SMS to open the Beeline verification page.

4️⃣ Remove Restrictions (Russian Page Guide):

• Touch/click "Remove restrictions" button
  OR
  touch/click "Снять ограничения".

• Enter the 5-digit image verification code (captcha) shown on the screen.

5️⃣ Refresh Your Network:

• Wait to see the confirmation page

• Turn On "Airplane Mode" on your phone

• Wait 10 seconds

• Turn Off "Airplane Mode" on your phone

• Check your internet connection to verify the access

👉 NOTE:

• IF you
• turn off eSIM data for more than 72 hours
• OR lose data connection for more than 72 hours
• OR turn off your phone for more than 72 hours
• while visitng Russia,
• THEN
• you have to repeat these steps
• OR you have to wait 24 hours before using data
